Hours and reservations
Fondazione Cesare Pavese and the Pavesian places can be visited with a guide in the following hours:
- On Sundays (until 5 January 2020) and bank holidays all year round (excluded 25 December and 1 January). Meeting point: Fondazione Cesare Pavese. Departures: 10.00, 12.00, 14.00 and 16.00 (groups upon reservation).
- On weekdays, from 10.00 to 12.30 and from 14.00 to 18.00, only upon online reservation (by phone only from Monday to Friday, from 9.00 to 13.00, at + 39 366 7529255). Meeting point: Fondazione Cesare Pavese. Last entrance: 30 minutes before closing time.
The Foundation is closed on Thursday afternoons and on Sundays (winter season).
The visit to Fondazione Cesare Pavese starts from the new Pavesian Museum, continues within the desecrated Church of Saints James and Christopher – where the writer got baptized – and ends in the house where he was born. The entire tour takes approximately 2 hours.
It is also possible to have a longer tour upon request, including the visit to Pinolo Scaglione’s workshop-house. This option takes approximately 3 hours.

- Schools: € 5,00 per student
The ticket includes the admission and the guided tour.
