Hours and reservations
Guided tours to Fondazione Cesare Pavese, the Pavese Museum and the Pavese places are available on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays (reservation advised). Visits are scheduled on three slots, starting at 10.30, 14.00 and 16.00, respectively.
Guided tours for groups or schools (upon reservation only)
Besides the options mentioned above, the service is also available from Monday to Friday during our opening hours. Reservations must be made via email through the form below, mentioning the day and the preferred slot (assigned based on actual availability).
Until 30 April 2022 the access to the museum and the Pavese places is allowed only to super green pass holders (EU Digital Covid Certificate or, for non-EU citizens, national vaccination/recovery certificate). Certificates must be shown to the staff and are not required for children under 12.
The visit to Fondazione Cesare Pavese starts from the new Pavese Museum, continues within the desecrated Church of Saints James and Christopher – where the writer got baptized – and ends in the birthplace. The entire tour takes approximately 2 hours.
It is also possible to visit only the Museum or to have a longer tour including the visit to Pinolo Scaglione’s workshop-house. This last option takes approximately 3 hours.
