Pavese Festival 2018

An appointment between music, art, theater and books, in the historic center of Santo Stefano Belbo. The Pavese Festival was born in 2001 with the aim of creating an annual review in the name of Cesare Pavese and paying homage to the writer through books, art, music, cinema and theater. Today it is recognized among the three main events in the province of Cuneo.

The 18th edition of the Pavese Festival took place on the first two weekends of September 2018, after the traditional opening on the bonfires night, on 4 August. The 2018 edition coincided with the 110th anniversary of Pavese’s birth, which was celebrated with the cancellation of three 2008 stamps depicting the writer, the house where he was born and the Foundation. The program included concerts (Gnu Quartet, Musica Nuda and Avion Travel), guided walks and an e-bike tour through the Pavesian places, theater plays and a photo exhibition of the Piedmont Instagram Community.
