Villa Nido

Villa Nido, so lofty and inaccessible seen from the Mora farm, is an old noble villa, surrounded by a large park, that in the good old days was the hub of the local high-society gatherings. Receiving an invitation to one of the parties organized at the villa was what Irene and Silvia – the daughters of Anguilla’s master in The Moon And The Bonfires – desired most. It was Anguilla who accompanied them there by barouche, the evening when their dream came true.

The splendour of the villa paired with endless estates – vineyards, wheat, farms, thickets of walnut trees, cherry trees, almond trees, plant nurseries – down to Canelli. The villa remained untouched in its charm and is located in the hamlet of Sant’Antonio, on the Salto hill.
