The Belbo stream

The Belbo stream, in whose once pure waters people used to fish and bathe, clearly divides the two hills of Gaminella and Salto, with the plain delimited by long rows of poplars in between. A boardwalk that no longer exists connected the two worlds: “We crossed the row of trees, the Belbo boardwalk, and came out on the Gaminella road, in the middle of the sweet acacias.”
